Malaysia's Kelantan State Local Government, Tourism and Culture committee chairman, Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan, has announced that supermarkets would not be allowed to open for business on the first day of the upcoming Raya (End of Ramadan) public holiday.
In past years, the state of Kelantan allowed supermarkets to open on the first day of the Raya public holiday, from noon to midnight.
