FSM President, Manny Mori, signed a Presidential Proclamation declaring a 4-day national period of mourning, from June 23-26, 2009, on the occasion of the passing of the late Honorable Vice-Speaker and Dauk of U, Resio S. Moses of the State of Pohnpei.
This was not declared an official public holiday, contrary to other such occasions in the Pacific (23-Nov-2006, 09-May-2007 and 16-Apr-2007).
