The government of Oman has confirmed that the date of this year's National Day (November 18) and Sultan's Birthday (November 19) will be regular working days (ie. will not be public holidays).
Despite this being a regular occurrence (17-Nov-2008, 13-Nov-2007, and 16-Nov-2006), most online sources are still incorrectly showing November 18-19 as public holidays in Oman. Based on past years, we expect the public holidays corresponding to this year's National Day and Sultan's Birthday to be observed on November 24 and 25.
