Saudi Arabia's stock exchange, Talawul, has announced that it would close for five trading days, September 19-23, on account of the upcoming Eid Al Fitr (End of Ramadan) public holidays.

Note that, with the Saudi banking and public sector weekends on Thursdays and Fridays, this means that, in effect, the Saudi stock exchange will have been closed for 9 consecutive days; from Thursday, September 17, to Friday, September 25, 2009.
