The the chief justice of Saudi Arabia's Supreme Court, Abdul Rahman Al-Kelya, went on to announce that, as a consequence, Arafat Day, when pilgrims stand in prayer on the plain of Arafat marking the climax of Haj, would fall Thursday, November 26, 2009.
