Although the upcoming Ramazan holiday is an official bank holiday in Sri Lanka, many banks have announced that some of their branches would be open on Monday, September 21, 2009.
In particular, Hatton National Bank will keep its 40 customer centres open from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m for basic banking transactions, while the Commercial Bank will keep its 84 branches open for business all day Monday, September 21st, 2009.
