Overnight, Antigua and Barbuda’s Governor General, Dame Louise Lake-Tack, declared today, Monday, August 30, 2010, a one-off national public holiday to allow residents to clean-up after the passage of Hurricane Earl.
The VC Bird International Airport, which closed yesterday afternoon, is expected to re-open this morning.
