The press secretary of the Argentinian association of banks, Eduardo Berrozpe, has announced an extension of the annual Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve bank holidays.

As such, the annual, half-day, afternoon, bank holidays of December 24 and December 31, will be extended to full-day bank holidays in 2010.

The press statement refers to the recent (11-Dec-2010) decree 1923/2010 declaring public sector holidays on December 23, 24, 30, and 31, 2010, as justification for these 2 additional bank holidays.
