The government of Barbados has released it list of official public holidays for the calendar year 2011.
As was the case for the announcement of the official list of 2010 Barbados public holidays (16-Apr-2009), the aforementioned announcement implements the Barbados-specific day in lieu rules for sequential public holidays that fall on a weekend, such as occurs in early August and around Christmas.
