The Royal Civil Service Commission of the Government of Bhutan has released its official list of public holidays for the year 2011.
The announced list of 2011 public holidays in Bhutan confirms, again (13-Jan-2010), the re-instatement of the Thrue Bab (Blessed Rainy Day) national public holiday (16-Sep-2009) that had been canceled a few years ago (03-Jan-2007).
Despite some discussions on the subject last year (29-Jul-2009), the Nyenpa Guzon holiday (aka. Ngyenpa Guzom, or Meeting of the Nine Evils), public holiday still does not appear in the aforementioned list of public holidays for 2011.
