The aforementioned declaration, based on the Law no. 10/2005 of the 10th of August (12-Aug-2005), applies to "all public servants and agents of the Ministries or their dependent services, as well as the institutes and organisms integrated in the indirect administration of the State" and was decided upon "taking into consideration the family festivity that is celebrated in this festive season, and which is traditionally consecrated to the reunion of all its members, signalled with religious festivities and ceremonies".
