Ecuador's Minister of Labour (la Dirección General de Trabajo del Ministerio de Trabajo) has released the list of the official public holidays in Ecuador for the calendar year 2011.
The announced list of public holidays follows the guidelines of the Decreto N. 418 de 19 de junio de 2007, signed by President Rafael Correa (20-Jun-2007).
The announcement does not spell-out the Carnival recuperation dates, usually the object of a later annoucement (18-Feb-2010, 21-Feb-2009 and 27-Jan-2008).
