Kuwait's Undersecretary at the Civil Service Commission (CSC), Mohammed Al-Roumi, has announced that, regardless of the date of the upcoming End of Ramadan, public sector employees would get four days of public sector holidays only for the Eid-Al-Fitr.
According to the aforementioned statement, if the first day of Eid falls on Thursday, September 9, then Sunday will be granted as a public sector holiday, and if the first day of Eid falls on Friday, September 10, then Monday, September 13, will be granted as a public sector holiday.
Last year (16-Sep-2009), the Kuwaiti cabinet had extended the End of Ramadan (Eid al-Fitr) public holidays for a full week.
