The Cabinet of the government of Lebanon has issued an official memo declaring that all public institutions will remain closed on April, 2nd, 3rd and 5th, of 2010, on the occasion of the upcoming Easter holidays.
Note that, compared to the revised list of 2010 public holidays in Lebanon, released in early January (03-Jan-2010), the above announcement adds a public sector holiday on Easter Monday (April 5).
Presumably this is to compensate the public sector for the fact that, this year, the public holidays for Catholic and Orthodox Good Friday occur on the same date.
