The government of Macedonia has declared next Tuesday, March 30, 2010, as the 5th Tree-Planting national non-working public holiday.
This additional non-working public holiday will be compensated by the Saturday, April 17, having been declared a regular working day.
This is the 5th such public holiday (12-Nov-2009, 18-Nov-2008, 12-Mar-2008) since 2008. Usually one is held in the spring and one in the fall (although the spring 2009 tree planting day was held on a Saturday).
