Malaysia's State of Kelantan has declared an additional one-off state public holiday on Sunday, January 2, 2011, to commemorate Malaysia's victory in the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup, last night.

Last night (29-Dec-2010), soon after the end of the game, Malaysian Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, had declared Friday, December 31, 2010, as a one-off national public holiday to commemorate Malaysia's victory in the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup.

However, in the Malaysian State of Kelantan, the weekly day off (weekend) is Friday, therefore the Kelantan State government declared a day in lieu state public holiday on the next regular working day.
