The government of Nepal has declared tomorrow, Sunday, June 27, 2010, a one-off regional public holiday on account of this year's Bhotojatra festival, marking the last day of the festival of Rato Macchindranath.
As such, this public holiday will be observed in the Kathmandu Valley.
Note that, after a brief interval in 2000-2001 when a 2-day weekend was tried (13-Jan-2001), Nepal observes a 1-day weekend on Saturdays, meaning that Sunday is normally a regular working day.
