The Gobierno de Cantabria has published the list of 2011 public holidays in Spain's Autonomous Region of Cantabria.
In 2011, as was the case last year (14-Aug-2009), and as per the dispositions of the Real Decreto 2001/1983, as amended by the Real Decreto 1346/1989, the autonomy has declared both July 28 (Día de las Instituciones) and September 15 (La Bien Aparecida) as regional public holidays.
In addition, the aforementioned Orden EMP/61/2010, de 10 de agosto, por la que se establece el Calendario de Fiestas Laborales para el año 2011 en el ámbito de la Comunidad Autónoma de Cantabria, published in the Boletín Oficial de Cantabria (BOC) nº 160 de 19/08/2010, also declares Monday, May 2, 2011, as the date when the annual May Day public holiday will be observed in 2011 (La Fiesta del Trabajo se celebrará el lunes 2 de mayo).
