The Consejería de Industria, Innovación y Empleo of Spain's Autonomous Region of La Rioja has published the list of regional public holidays for 2011 in La Rioja.
For 2011, the Autonomous Region of La Rioja has decided to declare regional public holidays on June 9 (Día de La Rioja) and the traditional July 25, Santiago Apóstol. In addition, after a 2-year hiatus (07-Sep-2007), Easter Monday has been restored as a public holiday.
The March 19 (San José) public holiday, selected the last 2 years (13-Aug-2009 and 02-Aug-2008), as July 25 fell on a weekend (07-Sep-2007), will not be a public holiday in 2011 in La Rioja.
