The government of Barbados has issued a statement specifying that the upcoming Christmas public holidays would be observed on Monday and Tuesday, December 26 and 27, 2011.
This announcement which confirms the usual day in lieu rules for sequential public holidays that fall on a weekend, such as occurs in early August and around Christmas, was included in last year's announcement of the 2011 official public holidays in Barbados (12-Feb-2010).
