Ecuador's Ministry of Tourism has announced that the upcoming, August 10, Primer Grito de Independencia del Ecuador, public holiday would be moved to Friday, August 12, 2011.
The aforementioned announcement is in line with the terms of the "Decreto Ejecutivo N. 418 de 19 de junio de 2007, mediante el cual se reguló el calendario de Festivos Nacionales, para estimular el turismo interno" (20-Jun-2007).
