Grenada's Governor General, Carlyle Glean, has proclaimed Tuesday, December 27, 2011, as a non-working bank holiday (public holiday) in the Grenada.
The aforementioned declaration of an additional 2011 public holiday (30-Dec-2010) was made necessary by the fact that the current public holidays legislation in Grenada stipulates that a bank holiday which falls on a Sunday will be celebrated "on the Monday immediately following", not the next non-working day.
