Jordan's Prime Minister, Marouf Bakhit, has issued a communique announcing the date of the upcoming public holiday for the Prophet's Birthday as Tuesday, February 15, 2011.
The communique is addressed to all ministries, government departments and public institutions but the aforementioned public holiday is expected to be observed by the financial sector and the private sector of Jordan, as well.
