Jordanian Prime Minister, Marouf Al Bakhit, has issued a circular decreeing a 4-day period of public holidays (Tuesday, August 30, to Friday, September 2, 2011) for the upcoming Eid Al Fitr (End of Ramadan) feast.
Contrary to previous announcements of public holidays (28-Apr-2011 and 11-Feb-2011), the aforementioned decree is not limited to the public sector and applies to all sectors of the economy (usually the 4th day of the End of Ramadan public holidays in Jordan are restricted to the public and banking sectors).
