Jordanian Prime Minister, Awn Khasawneh, has issued an official communiqué declaring Sunday, January 1st, 2012, as an official non-working public holiday on the occasion of the upcoming Gregorian New Year holiday.
A similar announcement was made last week (21-Dec-2011) declaring a public holiday in Jordan on Sunday, December 25, 2011.
