The governor of Yap State in the Federated States of Micronesia, Sebastian Anefal, has announced that Monday, January 2, 2011, would be an additional non-working public holiday throughout Yap State.
As per the aforementioned statement, the adjustment was made to the memorandum of Oct. 4, 2011 on the observance of legal holidays during calendar year 2012, namely that of New Year’s Day.
