The Cabinet of the Government of Mongolia has approved the declaration of a one-off non-working public holiday in Mongolia, on Thursday, December 29, 2011.
The original draft law called for the aforementioned December 29 non-working public holiday to be an annual public holiday in Mongolia. However, the Mongolian Cabinet decided to declare Thursday, December 29, 2011, as a one-off public holiday only in 2011, as it corresponds with the 100th anniversary of Mongolia's National Liberation Revolution.
