The government of Nepal has announced that the public holiday for the upcoming Mangsir Dhanya Purnima would be observed on Saturday, December 10, 2011.
The aforementioned Mangsir Dhanya Purnima, observed in nine districts in east of the Arun River, is also called Udhauli, Chasok, Phol Syadar, and Chasowa, and was made an annual regional public holiday in Nepal 3 years ago (07-Mar-2008).
