The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has declared Monday, January 2, 2012, as a one-off bank holiday.
The details of the aforementioned announcements are contained in the "BPRD Circular Letter No. 29 of 2011" released earlier today.
As per custom, under similar circumstances (02-Nov-2011), the aforementioned announcement states that all banks/DFIs/MFBs will remain closed for public dealing on that date.
