Philippines Public Holiday On October 31

Philippines' President, Benigno S. Aquino III, has issued Proclamation No. 265 declaring Monday, October 31, 2011, the eve of All Saints’ Day, as a special non-working public holiday throughout the Philippines.

The aforementioned declaration of Monday, October 31, 2011, as a special non-working public holiday will give Filipinos an extended weekend as Tuesday, November 1st, 2011, was declared as a special non-working public holiday in the Philippines by virtue of Proclamation 84, listing the special and regular public holidays in the Philippines for the calendar year 2011, and signed by President Aquino at the end of last year (20-Dec-2010).
