Malacañang, Philippine's presidential palace, has clarified the list of non-working public holidays in the Philippines for the remainder of 2011.

As per the aforementioned announcement, the remaining non-working public holidays in the Philippines for the remainder of 2011 are: December 25 (Christmas Day), December 30 (Rizal Day), and December 31 (New Year's Eve), as per last January's (20-Dec-2010) Proclamation 84, signed by President Aquino, listing the special and regular public holidays in the Philippines for the calendar year 2011.

The Malacañang spokesperson specifically stated that the upcoming December 26 and January 2, which will both fall on a Monday, are not non-working public holidays.
