Sri Lanka's Ministry Public Administration and Home Affairs has announced that the date of the upcoming Hajj public holidays (Feast of Sacrifice) had been changed from its earlier gazetted date to Monday, November 7, 2011.
According to the Director of Sri Lanka's Information Department, Ariyaratne Athugala, who made the aforementioned announcement, the decision was made as the earlier gazetted date for the 2011 Hajj public holiday was a Sunday (07-Jul-2010).
