The government of Togo has announced that Monday, January 2, 2012, had been declared a one-off non-working public holiday in Togo.
According to the statement released by the Togolese ministère de la fonction publique, the declaration of Monday, January 2, 2012, had been declared a one-off non-working public holiday in Togo, was taken to allow the Togolese population to recover from the year-end holidays (permettre à la population de se remettre des fêtes).
