Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers has issued a decree creating another 4-day Ramazan Bayram (End of Ramadan) public holidays from Saturday, August 18, until Tuesday, August 21, 2012, inclusively.
The aforementioned declaration of Tuesday, August 21, 2012, as an additional non-working public holiday for the End of Ramadan was not included in the list of 2012 public holidays in Azerbaijan which was published late last year (09-Dec-2011).
Last year (17-Aug-2011), Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministers has issued a similar decree on the "exchange of non-working and working days" to create a 4-day Ramazan Bayram (End of Ramadan) public holidays from Sunday, August 28, until Wednesday, August 31, 2011, inclusively, but then to compensate the aforementioned declaration of Monday, August 29, 2011, as an additional one-off public holiday, the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers decided to declare Saturday, August 27, 2011, as a regular working day, a common practice in Azerbaijan (see, for example, 10-Jun-2010).
