Bahrain's Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, has issued a circular declaring Tuesday, February 4, 2012, as a public holiday to mark the birthday of Prophet Mohammed for the Islamic year 1433.
In addition, as Saturdays are one of the weekly days of rest in Bahrain (02-Aug-2006), the circular specifies that an additional, day in lieu, public holiday will be observed by government ministries, authorities and institutions on Sunday, February 5, 2012.
