(Posted on Monday, August 6, 2012)

Source: Brunei Information Department (Prime Minister's Office)

The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has announced that the upcoming Hari Raya (End of Ramadan, or Eid al Fitr) public holidays in Brunei would be extended from two days to three days of non-working public holidays.

The aforementioned announcement will take effect immediately, thus amending the list of official bank holidays and public holidays in Brunei Darussalam during the calendar year 2012, which was released by the Information Department of Brunei Darussalam's Prime Minister's Office, a year ago (13-Sep-2011).
