The Eritrean government has announced the list of official national and religious non-working public holidays in Eritrea for the calendar year 2012.
As was often the case in past years, the announced dates of 2012 Muslim public holidays in Eritrea follow, or even precede, those calculated by the Umm al-Qura calendar used by Saudi Arabia, and are then often later changed at the last-minute (08-Sep-2010 and 18-Sep-2009).
