Jordanian Prime Minister, Fayez Tarawneh, has issued a circular, once again, decreeing a 4-day period of public holidays (Saturday, August 18, to Tuesday, August 21, 2012) for the upcoming Eid Al Fitr (End of Ramadan) feast in Jordan.
Contrary to last year (17-Aug-2011), but in line with previous years' public holidays (28-Apr-2011 and 11-Feb-2011), the aforementioned decree is limited to the public sector and applies to all sectors of the economy (usually the 4th day of the End of Ramadan public holidays in Jordan are restricted to the public and banking sectors).
