The Association of Banks in Lebanon has announced that Saturday, September 15, 2012, would also be a one-off bank holiday in Lebanon on the occasion of the upcoming visit of Pope Benedict XVI to Lebanon (Visite de Sa Sainteté le Pape Benoît XVI au Liban).
Late last week (08-Sep-2012), the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Najib Mikati, had issued a decree declaring Saturday, September 15, 2012, as a one-off non-working public holiday in Lebanon on the occasion of the upcoming visit of Pope Benedict XVI to Lebanon.
