Macedonian Public Holiday September 26

(Posted on Saturday, September 22, 2012)

Source: Ministry of Labour and Social Policy of the Republic of Macedonia (Skopje)

Macedonia's Ministry of Labour and Social Policy has announced that Wednesday, September 26, 2012, would be a non-working public holiday for "members of the Jewish community in Macedonia" on account of the upcoming Yom Kippur.

The above is in line with the Macedonian Ministry of Labour and Social Policy's official list of 2012 public holidays in Macedonia, as published last fall (03-Nov-2011), and, more generally with the Law on Holidays of the Republic of Macedonia (Official Gazette, and br.21/98 7.18) as last amended in 2007 (08-Feb-2007).
