The government of Niger has released the official list of non-working public holidays in Niger for the calendar year 2012.
The aforementioned announcement is in line with the Loi n°98-05 du 29 avril 1998 instituant les fêtes légales, as amended by the Loi n°2006-08 du 02 mai 2006, but goes further by specifying the dates of the Muslim public holidays in Niger for the calendar year 2012.
However, as always (07-Dec-2010 and 16-Feb-2010), the dates of Niger's Muslim public holidays may be changed at the last minute by a communiqué by the Secrétariat général du Ministère des Affaires Religieuses et de l'Action Humanitaire.
