The Pakistani Interior Minister, Rehman Malik, has announced that the Federal Cabinet of the Government of Pakistan had declared Friday, September 21, 2012, as Yaum-e-Ishq Rasool (love the Prophet day) a one-off non-working public holiday.
Interior Minister Malik went on to announce that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) would participate in the protest demonstrations of Friday, September 21, 2012, against the anti-Islam movie which has recently inflamed tempers throughout the Muslim world.
