Qatar's Emiri Diwan has announced that the previously-announced 11-day period of public sector holidays for the upcoming Eid al-Fitr (End of Ramadan), had been extended to 12 consecutive days of public sector holidays.
Earlier this month (04-Aug-2012), the Qatari government had announced that public sector holidays, for ministries, other government departments, authorities and public institutions, for the upcoming Eid al-Fitr (End of Ramadan), would be 11 consecutive days, from Thursday, August 16, until Sunday, August 26, 2012, inclusively.
As per today's announcement, the public sector holidays, for ministries, other government departments, authorities and public institutions, for the upcoming Eid al-Fitr (End of Ramadan), would be 12 consecutive days, from Thursday, August 16, until Monday, August 27, 2012, inclusively.
