The Consejo de Gobierno de Comunidad Autónoma de Castilla La-Mancha has published the list of 2013 public holidays (calendario laboral) in Spain's Autonomous Región of Castilla La-Mancha.
In 2013, the Autonomous Región of Castilla La-Mancha has declared a regional public holiday on May 31 (Día de la Región de Castilla-La Mancha) as was the case for the last 2 last year (01-Sep-2010 and 14-Sep-2009), as well as May 30 (día del Corpus Christi) as a regional public holiday in the Autonomous Región of Castilla La-Mancha for the third year in a row (24-Sep-2011 and 01-Sep-2010).
Castilla La-Mancha was be the second region of Spain to restore the día del Corpus Christi public holiday, long associated with the Franco regime, and shunned for that reason. For 2 years in a row the Comunidad de Madrid had been listing Corpus Christi as a regional public holiday (07-Oct-2009 and 26-Sep-2008). However, last year's published (16-Sep-2011) list of the 2012 public holidays in Spain's Autonomous Comunidad de Madrid, the día del Corpus Christi) was not listed as a regional public holiday in Spain's capital region.
The Autonomous Región of Castilla La-Mancha has also declared Monday, January 7, 2013, as a non-working public holiday in Castilla La-Mancha as the epiphany falls on a Sunday next year.
