Sri Lanka Banks' Association has released the list of official bank holidays in Sri Lanka for the calendar year 2013.
As was the case in the past (10-Oct-2011, 31-Aug-2011, 21-Jul-2010, 12-Jul-2010 and 06-Jul-2009), the aforementioned list of 2013 bank holidays follows last summer's announcement of the 2013 public holidays in Sri Lanka (11-Jun-2012), and adds a few additional half-day bank holidays for some non-Poya public holidays falling on a Saturday or Sunday.
