The government of Suriname has released an updated list of its expected public holidays dates for the calendar year 2012, which now lists Monday, August 20, 2012, as the date of the bank and public holiday for the upcoming Id-Ul-Fitr (End of Ramadan).
The list of expected Suriname public holidays dates for the calendar year 2012, released at the beginning of this year (31-Jan-2012), listed Sunday, August 19, 2012, as the expected date for the Id-Ul-Fitr (End of Ramadan) public holiday in Suriname.
Last year, the original list of expected Suriname public holidays dates for the calendar year 2011, released at the beginning of that same year (17-Jan-2011), listed Tuesday, August 30, 2011, as the expected date for the Id-Ul-Fitr (End of Ramadan) public holiday in Suriname, but was later moved to August 31 (25-Aug-2011).
