Trinidad and Tobago's Communication Minister, Jamal Mohammed, has announced that the Cabinet had decided to declare Monday, August 20, 2012, a day in lieu non-working public holiday in conjunction with the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr (End of Ramadan).
The aforementioned announced date is due to the fact that the Trinidad and Tobago Muslim community will mark Eid on August 19, a Sunday.
