Late last night, Trinidad and Tobago's Prime Minister, Kamla Persad Bissessar, declared a one-off non-working public holiday for today, Monday, August 13, 2012, "in recognition of the country's achievement at the London Olympics".
The week before last (03-Aug-2012), Trinidad and Tobago's Cabinet had similarly decided declared Monday, August 20, 2012, a one-off day in lieu non-working public holiday in conjunction with the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr (End of Ramadan).
