The government of Tunisia has announced that the date of the first day of the upcoming Aïd El Fitr (End of Ramadan) public holidays would be on Sunday, August 19, 2012.
Late last year (15-Dec-2011), the government of Tunisia had released the list of official public holidays in Tunisia for the upcoming calendar year 2012, in which the public holiday for the upcoming Aïd El Fitr (end of Ramadan) public holiday was set for Sunday, August 19, 2012.
Recall that, last spring (02-Feb-2012), the date for the public holiday for the 2012 Mawlid (Prophet's Birthday) in Tunisia, was moved to Saturday, February 4, 2012.
