The Commissioner of Administration of the US State of Louisiana, Paul Rainwater, has announced that Louisiana state government offices would remain closed, statewide, on Thursday, August 30, 2012.
Last week (22-Aug-2012 and 20-Aug-2012), the Governor of neighboring Puerto Rico, had declared Wednesday and Thursday, August 22 and 23, 2012, as one-off non-working public sector holiday, also on account of the tropical storm Isaac.
